Devinci’s E-Cartier makes the choice to go gas-free less of a chore. Specifically, the bike’s ingenious Shimano STEPs e-motor adds power to your pedal strokes for up to 150 kilometers. And suddenly, that end-of-the-day slog no longer ends in spent legs. The rest of the bike is equally invigorating. Optimum S02 Aluminum frame geometry riffs on Devinci’s MTB DNA, putting riders in an upright, short-stem position for a tall view of tripping pedestrians and swerving cabs. Manoeuvrability, meanwhile, is enhanced by ultra-fast 27.5 wheels. Stop on a dime thanks to all-weather disc brakes. Additional city-inspired features include safety-striped paint, 2.0 tire clearance, and both rear-rack and fender compatibility.
