To all Cycles Devinci customers

During the past few years, the bike industry has experienced unprecedented growth. This has prompted bike and parts manufacturers all around the world to constantly adjust. Devinci is no exception to the rule. This growth has brought many challenges and forced us to adapt to this new reality.

Unfortunately, as of February 7th, all 2022 bike prices will be adjusted to reflect recent price increases that originated from multiple fronts. Because these types of announcements or decisions are never taken lightly, we strive to remain as transparent as possible with everyone involved with Devinci (retailers and customers).

Here is an in-depth look at why we had to make these changes.

  • Material and parts costs: the price of raw materials is still rising, making the cost of components and frame manufacturing, for example, more expensive than ever.
  • Freight charges: whether by sea or by air, all shipping charges are increasing. After the parts land and the bikes are produced, domestic freight charges also continue to rise.
  • Bike specification: when necessary, specification changes are made to help delivery deadlines and can also affect product prices.
  • Labour shortages: to meet the demand upsurge, more staff is needed, and resources are limited.

We continue to monitor the situation daily and will give our customers updates as needed. Our team continues to work tirelessly to get the parts needed in our warehouse so we can build and deliver the best products in a time-efficient manner. The current supply chain is still overloaded by demand, so delays will remain a reality in 2022.

We hope you are still in good health and that you have found some time to enjoy some outdoor activities.

We thank all of you for your understanding of the current circumstances.
